Is God interested to Hear our Prayers?

There are many ways on how an individual state their prayers. Our beliefs' and cultures has a huge factor in giving our petition to God. In some nation it is typical to hear an individual or a group of people crying out loud, and for some they pray in their mind. Whether in silence or in loudness the motives of a person is the most important thing, especially to our Living God. Personally, I think we need to dig more about prayer because there are still Christians who seems do not understand How to Pray.

Before we proceed, let us define What is Prayer? Prayer is communication between God and human being. Where it requires a sender (the one who talks) and a receiver (the one who

listen). Prayer is a two-way street where the sender becomes the receiver and the receiver becomes the sender. In any given relationship communication is a must. Without communication there is no understanding, no growth and therefore we can conclude that the relationship is dead. In the same manner if we do not pray to God or with God our love to Him will Never grow.

Prayer is important to God because He is interested to Hear our petition and concern. In Psalm 34:15 says, "The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry (ESV)." We are His children, and God's ears is incline to us. Always remember this Bible verse in Psalm 142:2, "I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him (ESV)." In short, God is interested with our heartaches and personal struggles.

Earlier, I have said that our beliefs' and cultures is a big influence on how we conduct our prayers. Sadly, there are still many people in the world practices to utter their prayers to someone else, but that act is in the Old Testament that is bound to Law. Nowadays, we do NOT need someone to usher our prayers. We can go to God directly, because of Jesus Christ death on the cross. He took away the gap between God and man. Therefore we can finally " approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrew 4:16, NIV)." Whatever the season you are in your life, Call to our God in the Name of Jesus Christ.

To answer the question, "Is God interested to Hear our Prayers?" The answer is YES! Let us then “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7, NIV)." In other words, Jesus is encouraging us to approach our

Living God directly. There is no need to go to someone or do some ritual things before stating our prayers. There is no need of those things. Just communicate with God. Whoever you are and whatever you've done, God is interested with You because He LOVES You.
